FAQs & Policies
Is the cottage the only building on the property?
The cottage is near to the main house, where Leanne and Steve Gerrard live. Don't worry, we aren't nosy - and the cottage has its own private patio and view of Mount Hood.
Are reservations required? How many people can stay in the cottage?
Yes, you need a reservation. The cottage can accommodate 1-3 people.
Are pets allowed? Is smoking permitted?
No and no. We are committed to maintaining the cottage as an allergy-free space, so regrettably no pets are allowed. Smoking (whether tobacco or anything else) is not permitted anywhere on the property.
Is breakfast included?
We are not a bed & breakfast. Guests are responsible for their own food and meal preparation.
What kind of cooking can we do?
Light cooking can be done with a convection/toaster oven and a countertop induction cooking burner. The cottage has a refrigerator, cookware, and utensils. Owing to Clark County building codes, the cottage does not have a full-size range or oven. We do supply a coffee maker and tea kettle.
Does the cottage have a TV?
No. The cottage is designed as a retreat space for those who want peace and quiet. It does not have a TV or a stereo.
Is WIFI available?
Yes, sort of. The main house has a wifi network that, on a good day, reaches out to the cottage. If you have an urgent need to get online and the signal is not working at the cottage, then come to the main house and you can get online there. Note that Internet is obtained via satellite and response times are visibly slower than you get from fiber or cable. If you are planning to stream a movie you are probably out of luck.
